LMA, representing VISIT FLORIDA® as theOfficial Tourism Marketing Corporation for the State of Florida, attended the five-day TMAC Conference in Fredericton, NB and participated in all major networking and media events. Maureen Wright, Partner and Director of Public Relations, lead LMA’s effort.
Friday’s Media Marketplace was a full program and busy workday at the VISIT FLORIDA® media booth. 18 key media from across Canada stopped by for a 15-minute Q & A on their destination interest in Florida. Many came with assignments and a specific date for their press trip to Florida.
Other networking highlights included: professional development series; the Annual General Meeting for TMAC; provincial Chapter Meetings; key Note Speaker Sessions with media/travel and literary experts.
The program included an elegant Welcome Event, tours and reception at New Brunswick Government House inspired further networking, plus displayed traditional Maritime hospitality and heritage.
VISIT FLORIDA® was one of the major international destinations at TMAC and a popular source for media and industry representatives.
