LMA in Dominica

Recently, we were asked by the Government of Dominica to consult with the DDA (Discover Dominica Authority), the tourism ministry. Dominica is part of the Lesser Antilles chain of islands within the Caribbean, situated between Martinique and Guadeloupe. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to visit Roseau, the capital of Dominica. Prior to meeting with the DDA Board, we spent a day touring the country. The tour provided us with an overview of a spectacular island, with all its amazing natural resources: waterfalls, rainforests, sulfur hot springs, as well as winding roads and stunning vistas. Perhaps the most impressive asset Dominica possesses is its people. They were all eager to help and proud of their Nation. We were honored to be a guest in their country. Colby Watch: He’s Getting Better!

LMA was saddened to learn that Colby, our beloved llama at StillPointe Sanctuary in Silverdale, WA, suffered a minor stroke early this summer. In case you hadn’t heard, LMA adopted the all-white, lovable llama back in January through the StillPointe Sancutary Adoption Program. Colby was malnourished before being brought to StillPointe and we are proud to sponsor such a resilient animal. Although his gentle disposition was unaltered by this event, it has been hard for the 20 year old llama to recover his sense of balance and appetite. Fortunately, we have just received news that Colby’s strength is returning in full force. Everyone is confident that Colby will remain a fixture at StillPointe for years to come! Ivanhoe Cambridge Evite System Launch

LMA is proud to launch a new fully customizable evite system for Ivanhoe Cambridge. Ivanhoe Corporation was founded in Montreal in 1952 and Cambridge Shopping Centres Ltd was founded in Toronto in 1960. Both were prominent property management and development companies in Eastern Canada before they merged in 2001. Ivanhoe Cambridge plans several large, upscale events for their clients every year. LMA’s overall strategy was to design a flexible and robust content management system for creating and publishing custom event eblasts. This new system also ensures that the evites contain a specific template for additional edits. The front-end is managed entirely through JavaScript rather than Flash for optimal cross-platform performance with all devices including the Blackberry, iPhone, iPad and Android. Apart from basic features involving backgrounds and fronts, the eblasts incorporate opacity levels in the content container, direct links to Google Maps and intricate logo uploads. The evites also give …
