John Ozikizler is the President of LMA. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Waterloo. John Ozikizler is an advertising industry veteran and brings a wealth of proven business expertise to LMA, having served as VP-General Manager of DAC Group, Managing Director of Publicis Modem and President of Maclaren Momentum.

John is the commensurate expert in the field of integrated marketing communications. Drawing upon his experience with dozens of clients – both in packaged goods and in services – John is able to quickly find the optimal balance of digital and traditional communications solutions. This experience has propelled him through an incredibly wide range of disciplines that include: public relations, event management, internet search marketing, broadcast advertising, collateral design and trade shows. John believes that marketing starts with the consumer, working to ensure that the programs we deliver meet this critical responsibility.


In a marketing career that spans 35+ years, Larry has accumulated a wealth of experiences: from shampoo and toothpaste; salty snacks to disposable diapers; and luxury resorts to real estate. His expertise and personal thumbprint can be seen in marketing strategies and communications throughout North America.

Prior to his consulting and advertising agency career, Larry gained business training/insight through a seven-year stint in marketing for Procter & Gamble and two years with PepsiCo. Joining Bozell Advertising, Larry found himself as Management Supervisor for the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. It was here that Larry recognized the opportunity to apply the familiar strategic marketing disciplines honed in the package goods industry, that are often somewhat foreign to service industries.

Twenty-five years ago, Larry formed LMA Communications Inc., with the specific goal of directing service industries in their quest for business enhancements through marketing differentiation. Services are provided in five primary disciplines: Digital and traditional, advertising, social media, public relations and consulting.

LMA has been the recipient of 72 business-building Adrian Awards, including their prestigious Platinum distinction. The agency was also named eMarketer of the Year by TravelClick. Larry has been a keynote speaker at numerous industry conferences, and is a regular contributor to HotelNewsNow, eHotelier, Canadian Lodging News, Hotel Interactive and Hotel Executive. He also writes a twice-weekly editorial for Hotel Magazine, with a column entitled “The Hotel Mogel.” In 2013, Larry was recognized as one of the “Top 25 Extraordinary Minds” by HSMAI.

Larry holds an MBA from McMaster University (Hamilton, ON) and an Honours Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Concordia University (Montreal, QC).
